HR director no longer with Bozeman

After 10 months on the job, the city of Bozeman’s human resources director no longer works for the city, City Manager Chris Kukulski confirmed this week.

Tricia Gowen’s employment with the city ended Monday, Kukulski said. He declined to say why, adding it’s a confidential personnel issue.

Attempts to reach Gowen were unsuccessful.

Gowen was chosen to replace the previous human resources director, Pattie Berg, after the city conducted a yearlong search for someone to fill the position. Berg resigned last year following a controversy in 2009 over a hiring policy that asked city job applicants for their Facebook passwords.
